Penis ring what size? – Is it too tight?
Penis rings are certainly not a one-size-fits-all sex toy!

How to measure a cock ring
Materials needed: string, ruler/tape measure, markers.
It’s best to use string instead of wrapping a tape measure directly around your penis. This way you can more accurately and precisely size your penis ring, and the whole process is less cumbersome!
Step 1: You decide where you want to wear the penis ring, because that will affect where you measure. Most commonly it is worn around the penis behind the testicles, but you can also wear it on the shaft in front of the testicles or even around the glans near the tip of the penis.
Step 2: Start with a flaccid penis. Wrap the string around where you want to wear your cock ring (for example, around your penis, behind your testicles, or in front of it). It should feel fairly tight, but not uncomfortable or painful. There should be just enough room to fit a finger between the string and the skin.
Step 3: Make a mark on both sides of the cord where they meet. It’s easier to have some cord left on both ends and make a mark on both sides than to try to measure where one end of the cord meets the other.
Step 4: Measure the distance between the two marks with a ruler or tape measure. This way you will get the circumference of your cock ring in the ideal size.
Step 5: Now do the same with an erect penis. This time, the string should feel nice and tight, and you shouldn’t be able to stick a finger between the string and your skin. Mark the string and then measure the distance between the marks.
My measurements don’t match, help!
The two measurements of the circumference of your flaccid and erect penis should match (or at least be very similar). If they don’t, there are two options:
Measure again. This may be a good option if your measurements were not very similar. You may need to sit a little looser or tighter, but make sure it doesn’t feel uncomfortable or painful.
Take the average of the two measurements. This should give you a comfortable size to start with.
Determine the diameter
Some cock rings are measured by circumference, while others are measured by diameter.
Unfortunately, to determine the diameter, you’ll have to do a little math. Just take the circumference you measured and divide it by pi (which is 3.142).

Adjustable cock rings
The above method works well for sizing all cock rings, especially those made of stronger materials like metal or silicone rings.
However, these are not the only option!
These days, there are quite a few cock rings available, many of which are adjustable in size.
Adjustable penis rings are an ideal solution for those who are wearing a cock ring for the first time or are unsure of their size. There are a number of different types, including:
